This looks absolutely wonderful. Will try it as soon as cranberries arrive in the stores this fall. I've moved several hours south so and no longer have access to the bog in the norther PA mountains where I used to pick them wild.
Cranberries make an absolutely deliscious pie. I've seen recipes for cranberry-apple pies but never one for just cranberries. I wonder why? Anyway I adapted a recipe for rubarb pie (figuring it was tart like cranberries) It was outstanding.

I made this a couple of weeks ago after finding fresh Cranberries (which can be difficult to get here) on the farmers' market and it was lovely!

Mmmm. I've tried a lot of your recipes Kay and this one was just like the rest - it rocked!! We are predicting minus 19 celcius here in Ottawa, Canada tonight so this sure hit the spot to warm us up. Thanks a bunch and keep up the great cooking / photography / writing etc. :)

This looks gorgeous and sounds so interesting. I have never cooked with cranberries (other that dried cranberries in muffins and cakes). Thanks for the tip re frozen berries - probably less sweet and more like the real flavour. I will look out for some and try this. Love the photos too!
