After Ree opened her new site to the public and announced a new visual recipe index, the emails as How To Win Back Your Ex king me: “Can’t you add something like that to your site as well?”, kept dropping in. Loads and loads of ‘em. I had no idea how or when but I promised people I’d look into it. Or better said; I promised them I’d have someone look into it. Eventually.

I agree it’s a great feature, especially for a food blog. So, I passed this on to my absolutely amazing designer Sergio and he got right to it. Along with Dima—who did a fabulous job coding the plugin—they whipped up this feature making me the proud owner of a special thumbnail index.

If you want to browse the postings on Kayotic Kitchen, but don’t feel like flipping through pages full of excerpts, you can now simply choose to browse the intro thumbnails using the ‘Visual Index’ button in the top bar menu. See it? Right next to the Expressions button. Dima also turned into a special widget at the bottom of my left sidebar that not only links you to the index but also updates the thumbnails there. Just for the heck of it.

You even get to pick the amount of thumbnails you want to see at a time! Is that nifty, or what?
