Time flies, that’s for sure. Can’t believe it’s almost Super Bowl Sunday again. Let’s hope that whoever sings the American national anthem this year won’t mess up the way Christina Aguilera did last year. Ouch, that was really painful to watch (and hear), even for me, and I’m Dutch!
But I do have a few recipe suggestions for you! You know, for when you want something to nibble on not to mention something to satisfy your hungry guests.

The Grub:
These pretty little numbers hit all the right spots. Lots of meat in this one.

These! You’ll be needing lots of these. Mini meatballs glazed with a jalapeño and cherry coke reduction.

Go for hot and spicy with this Jamaican Jerk Chicken. Just grill them on your stove top!

Easy Asian chicken strips. Pile them up high for full effect!

Burgers stuffed with cheese and topped with avocado, lettuce, grilled onion and tomatoes.

Ditch the couscous and just make the chicken instead! Lots of flavor here.

How about Sloppy Joe mini meatballs? With or without bread. Your call.

A big bowl of easy and fast home-made salsa is always a hit!

Or how about a few pulled chicken in sauce sandwiches?

Easy Greek style wraps that you can make in advance!

Whatever you’ll be eating… have fun at Super Bowl 2012! Enjoy it for me, too, because I’ll be sound asleep around then.
