A couple of other sites I read mentioned that you can replace fish sauce with light soy sauce. I have the same problem in being allergic to fish sauce. Lime juice added to this would also work well with this recipe.

I’ll be taking your Savory Party Bread to my Super Bowl party. I made it for my neighbor’s birthday party, the same one hosting the Super Bowl party, and was told I was not allowed through the door with these. I think I better double the recipe!

I normally wouldn’t stay up for the game (didn’t last year), but since the Saints are finally in the Superbowl for the first time ever — and I’ve been a fan of them for 20 years now — I’m going to do my best to watch the game. Probably won’t be eating during it, though. Will probably be too nervous to eat anyway!

Kay, like you I’m on the wrong side of the ocean (Germany). I’ve tried to wacth the Super Bowl though, but it is early on monday morning at night for me when the game starts.

Well since we are rooting for the Saints in this house I’m making cajun food. Shrimp Po’boys and maybe a Sweet Potato Pie. My husband loves stuffed jalapenos so I’m sure I’ll make some of those too.
