Storyboard Giveaway! (time’s up!)

Thanks for entering, everyone!

Random.org gave me #14. That’s Erica H. Congrats on the pregnancy, Erica! I wish I had my storyboards around the time my son was born, would’ve made things much easier!

Give me a shout at Kay@kayotic.nl to let me know what storyboard actions you would like for me to make! You’re also free to choose my own storyboard layouts, of course, if there are particular ones you like.

The thinker! I love this shot. Adore it. Another thing I love are my storyboard actions, it’s pretty much my trademark these days.

Created so many I’m practically drowning in them. Giving them names that imply what they do and what photos to use has always been the hardest part. Bottom line, I would be nowhere without them; I’d feel silly having to take up all your bandwidth merely to show you 7 almost similar photos of me chopping an onion, drizzling sauce over meatballs or stirring something. Now I still get to show you all the steps, but in a more reader friendly way. This works much better for my blog.

So I decided to spread the love.

Without my storyboards I couldn’t show you the recipe, 3 photos and my url on 3 bottom pages of the Reader’s Digest October edition (beams) all in one. Pardon the lousy quality, I don’t have a scanner.

I couldn’t show off the cutest feet and toes in the world. I like tickling them.

And the twirling fruit, ice cubes and milk shots for amazing smoothies! This would take you some scrolling, I tell you.

I couldn’t let you peek in on our private moments. And the shame of having your Wii fit confiscated and finding out your 3-year-old is more adept than you are. That should be private. Oh, the shame.

I couldn’t take you with us on long, windy autumn walks. Well, I could, but you’d hurt your finger from all the scrolling.

The happy and cheerful summer times in the back yard.

Or my (almost) back yard! That would be rsi inducing! Nope. Can’t do that to you.

The weird stuff you can find downtown Gouda during Queensday would have been much harder to display.

And the gazillion photos of the face I love most in this world would have made you scream. Not that I would have cared, but still…

So I’ve decided to give away 3 custom made storyboard actions (web size) so you can start spreading the love as well without making people scroll for ages. The winner gets to pick the size and how many photo openings they want.

- To enter, just let me know what you would use the storyboards for. What’s your main photography subject?

* Only one entry per person and no entries after Wednesday 10am CEST, please. I’ll announce the winners later that day!

Note: the actions are only for Photoshop, unfortunately not for Elements.

I take mainly pictures of nature. :) I love how many colors can exist in a single square foot of earth.

Food and friends. A storyboard would be lovely, since it would allow me to fit all this wonderful-ness in a small space.

      Ohhhh, what a wonderful giveaway!

I’d use those storyboards for photos of my kids, for sure! I’ll photograph anything, but my *favourite* subjects are my kids.

I love camping and have tons of canoe/lake/rapids/trees/firepit/trees/friends pictures that would look beautiful in a storyboard.

My main photography subject…. um….. Well, that would be either my sewing projects or since I’m going to Hawaii this week, it could very well turn into tropical vacation photos. Either way, storyboards would be very useful! :)

The subjects of my storyboards/collages, are always the two most precious people in my life…My 3-year old daughter Giada, and my 23-month old son Keene.
These two keep me very busy and stressed and entertained, all at the same time :)
I love capturing their sandy bodies during the Summer, and their playfulness in the fall, when they run through the leaves in the yard.
I would love love love a storyboard!!!!!

      Thank you!

What a fun giveaway! I’m 15 weeks pregnant and I’m taking lots of photos of all things baby: tummy, sewn creations, small things, and the (slow) nursery progress.

I bounce between food, family and friends. The people I love are all spread around the world and photos are a great way to show them all what’s going on in my life!

I’m trying to get into blogging, and some of the things I want to post about are how-tos of various subjects. Like you said, it saves scrolling if you can combine parts of a step into one picture. Plus I have many pictures of the face that I love most in the world that I want to share with family. :)

I think I’d use them like you – in a variety of different ways, for a variety of different scenarios. Visits to the zoo, to the park, to local hotspots. Or, shots of my kids, my dogs, my family. Sometimes of food, or vegies from my garden being made into meals…all sorts of things. I just love taking pictures and the storyboard idea would go a long way in helping me share these things without killing people’s browsers.

I would use them for pictures of my kids and for my cooking blog! In fact, I would pay money for these if you ever thought about selling them. I’ve been looking for some good web storyboards and I just can’t figure out how to make them the way I want.
