hey Kay! love from Oman..!… i tried this recipe out sometime back.. and though it became one of the most heavenly things i have ever eaten… the base got really hard and did not move!.. it was very difficult to break out.. could you please tell me how to avoid this from happening.. because this Thursday i want to try this recipe out again.

Kay this dessert is such a yummy idea! I made the crust with chocolate coated tarwe cookies and I used Stracciatella ice cream. Omg, so delicious! The only change I will make next time is to add the raspberries as a garnish instead of in the frozen dish because they were hurting my teeth. Otherwise, it’s perfection and the homemade Dulce de Leche is divine! Thanks again for another hit!

Ps: I used to live in a’dam for a couple of years and miss little Holland so much! I’m planning to bake the Hollandse appeltaart next week – I hope to get it right :)
