Hi thanks for the lovely recipe...I did everything in 1/2 the quantity.....and added 1 grated garlic and 1/4 tsp of grated ginger while frying the onion....the recipe turned out fabulous and yummy. I also added 1/2 tsp of cayenne pwd for spicing it up as I only had the normal gouda cheese...the only hiccup I had after baking the muffins....it would'nt come off the paper cup cake case...though I even buttered some and some I did'nt so the edges got stuck to the casing....but overall this is the really the best I've tasted in cheese and bacon muffin....as normally they come off so dry like a cake and this one just turned out so moist and yum....

thanks again for the wonderful recipe..God Bless you abundantly..

Ah! I'm making this right now and it smells....... so....... *drool* so good. Never made bacon before, so that part was very interesting. Thank you so much for being so thorough with your picture-by-picture recipes. I've been recommending your blog to many of my friends.

These are wonderful! I use a similar recipe, but substitute the bacon for chorizo - it gives a lightly spiced flavour without losing any of the texture. A sure winner!

I am so excited about this recipe. There is a restaurant in LA that serves an assortment of savory breakfast muffins. Now I can make these at home!
