Pepper wise things are going well. Very well, I must say. The seeds we were afraid were really Serrano peppers turned out to be Jalapeños after all. Whew.
One after another plant is starting to produce fruit.

But my Anaheim plants are also going like crazy.

The Madame Jeanette plants are still too small to produce fruit yet, but they are thriving as well.
As for me…. I’m not quite as well even though I feel tons lighter after they removed this from my ankle yesterday morning.

Still in lot of pain, but the surgery went well, and so far things are looking pretty good. Hope we can close that chapter, too.

Hi Kay, I just saw your postings about you ankle fracture. I did the same fracture October 13, 2011, just after you. Went up 2 steps and came down one. So, tell me, why did you have your hardware removed?
Had it removed because it hurt really badly and kept me from using my ankle all too well. I could walk for a while but then my ankle just seemed to jam… hardware related pain really sucks. Had it removed and in a month I was back to my old self.
Btw, love your recipes. I have made many, thankyou.
My dorsiflex (sp) is minimal and am wondering if removal will help. Thanks for your response :)
Do you train it and do you have PT? I put myself on a very strict training schedule and worked my butt off to get my dorsiflexion back to normal.
My dorsiflexion was -7..
Yes, I have done physio without much improvement. I have been quite disappointed but it doesn’t stop me too much. It does ache after too much walking though. Thank-you for answering my questions :)
The thing that worked for me was working my ankle with resistance bands.
