Quick shot because, really, this makes me such a proud mom.
The kiddo wanted to bake a cake all week long… just my luck. Today I told him to go right ahead and bake it. And he did… he made it almost by himself.
Not bad for a 6-year-old. Not bad at all. It’s rich, moist and totally decadent. I wish I could say he’s got his baking skills from me, but I can’t. I don’t have any.

Hi Kay! I just sent you another email regarding using your roti photo. Clearly we’d REALLY like it to run. Have you decided no? I hope not! Please let us know either way. Thank you!
Just replied your email! You ended up in my spamfolder for reasons unknown :)
Haha, I read through the comments and saw you gave someone the recipe link. I was going to scold you for posting such absolutely delicious looking photos and torturing us without a recipe! Love your blog!
What a little star! That cake looks gorgeous.
That’s a more delicious looking cake than I have seen a majority of adults produce! I’d be super proud. I have no baking skills either so his mad skillz impress me no end!
