Esther, don’t you love it? Between the two of, us, we eat so much olives. Green or black, doesn’t matter.

Crete is by far my favorite place! Last trip was to Malia.

My 2 year old loves olives & feta too!

We are big fans of greek food & I love salads. Where in Greece have you been? We have been to Crete 3 times – lovely place.

Thanks for the compliments, Becca! I don’t really have a secret. It’s mainly just shoot and go, so to speak. I indeed use natural light, unless I decide to make a night time posting, which doesn’t happen too often. I’m currently shooting with a Nikon D80.

The blond hair still amazes me. Both his father and I weren’t this blond as toddlers. His eye color amazes me, too. His dad has brown eyes and mine are green. We didn’t expect a child with such bright blue eyes!

Ha! The infamous ‘if it ain’t Dutch, it ain’t much’ saying :))

I really enjoy looking at your blog. The recipes look delicious and your photos are amazing! I am an amateur photographer want-to-be and cook enthusiast, but have no blog…yet. Maybe some day though. Just curious what is your secret with such awesome pictures. I think I heard you mention natural light. Any tips for an amateur. What kind of camera do you use? BTW your little boy is adorable…I have a son too with blond blond hair about the same age (Dutch background) My family always says “if you aren’t Dutch your aren’t much”,
