I found this recipe and your site through a search for Cold German Potato Salad. I made this 2 nights ago and all I can say is WOW….this is just delicious. I am from NY originally and this reminds me sooooooooooooooooo much of the wonderful Potato Salad you could buy at the local Deli. I will for sure be making this again.

MMmm potato salad. I’m actually part German as well (however, like you Kay you’d never believe it if you saw my expression as people start to speak German to me, when I’m supposed to be able to understand some of it) – my grandmother’s mother, so it’s another two generations gone by. I’m not saying it doesn’t come out however LOL Might have to give this recipe a go though, since my potato salad isn’t as tangy/sour as this one at all! (although I love adding vinegar & lemon juice!! *grin*)

First of all let me tell you that I really really like your site. And I’ve made several of the recipes here. I made this German potato salad a couple of days ago. Stupid me , butI made the mistake of grabbing the wrong herb at the AH. I took koriander instead of parsley. But I have to say it turned out really good.

I don’t have a salmon recipe, it’s the only kind of fish my guys don’t care for at all, so I rarely make it. But I do know that Kalyn (over at http://kalynskitchen.blogspot.com/) has some wicked salmon recipes!

The salad is the best! I love German potato salad and have made it by myself too (whole boiled with pickles and eggs), but never never never could get SO wonderful taste.
I just made the salad and now waiting for the family – i will serve it with grilled salmon fillet and some lettuce.

By the way – do you have some salmon recipe?
