Hangop

Hangop is a very authentic, Old-Dutch dessert recipe. So old-fashioned it’s in style again. It seems we’re having a revival of old-fashioned recipes & cooking techniques here!

    Creamy Mustard & Onion Soup

I have a thing for creamy mustard soup. Is that a typically Dutch thing to eat? I don’t even know.

Curly Kale Hodgepodge (with a twist)

It’s time for hearty, honest and slightly less fattening food! At least for my thighs it is. Here’s a family favorite for your winter hodgepodge collection. You can never have enough of them! Speculaas Cupcakes (with White Chocolate Frosting)

Them be muffins. Somehow I’ve always wanted to say that! Not sure why. You guys had your Halloween, now it’s time to make room for Sinterklaas. I absolutely love how these cupcakes turned out. They looked so cheerful! Very Sinterklaas worthy. The cupcakes were really fragrant with just enough spices in them to make them taste more interesting than regular ones. Not too sweet either. Topped with white chocolate frosting, this was my…
