Odd Photos

I have a thing for slightly odd photos. Weird angles, bad composure, movement blurs, slightly out of focus; I’m all for it. It brings a photo to life. You know, the type of photography that just doesn’t make sense no matter how long you look at it. Looking longer often makes them even worse. The photos with people in it where only part of their body shows, often without head….

    Is It Spring Yet?

At first there was snow. Lots of snow, too much if you ask me. And it was cold, so cold. Now there’s rain. Lots of rain, too much if you ask me. See the beauty in the glass and icicles glistening in the sun, while the blue sky surrounds it and the snow-covered leafs frame it. You won’t see…

          Candlelight Photography

With Christmas coming up, I’m sure you’re gonna do a lot of photography around candlelight. You can use the candlelight to your advantage because it creates a gorgeous, warm flickering light that’s flattering to just about anyone. Few pointers. Use a tripod: This is a must. You really need a tripod for this type of photography. I use a Manfrotto 055XDB with a 484RC2 Ball Head. Light more than one candle: Just…
