We live, breathe and sleep angry birds here. Not me, though. I’m just an innocent bystander stuck with two addicts in my house, father and son. They take turns on the cell phone. Those sounds, ugh, those sounds!
As I’m writing this, the kiddo is frantically searching the house -going through my drawers and even my kitchen cabinets- in a desperate attempt to find his camera. Why? So he can take a picture of the angry birds score on his dad’s phone. I kid you not.
Slowly I’m going insane.
I had to bribe him into going back to school after lunch break the other day by promising him we’d pull out the Playdoh as soon as he’d get home.
So we did. And then we had to make this.

Thanks. I knew you would.
So does Octo, our second oceanic member of the family. He’s so ugly he’s cute. I felt shark-bite was a more appropriate name.

He hides in Spongebob’s pineapple house several times a day. Can’t blame him, those are some real angry birds out there.

Please, help me. At least send in a St. Bernard with a brandy barrel around his neck! I need it.

Kay, you really cracked me up with this post !
Ha, these crack me up! Love the tail on that fish!
This made me laugh. Your clay birds are actually pretty good.
O hahaha… I have a confession to make; I also have angry birds on my phone, but I can truthfully say I am not an addict.. I think… :) I got crazy when I couldn’t crack one level at which point I figured it was time to go and do something useful with my time…
Am I the only one that has never seen this game? I hear about it all the time, and after reading this, I think it sounds too addicting to ever put on my phone. Thanks for saving one reader from Angry Birds rehab, Kay!
He did really well with the birds. You should see this (but don’t let J watch it, or he’ll be requesting one). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-hwVRzaQNkA
Adorable creations – even if inspired from those awful angry birds. I do enjoy it — but too, have learned to move on when not breaking through after a certain number of attempts. I never was in to any games – pac man (yes, it came out when I was a wee one.) — and no other ones — but angry birds is fun…to a point. ;-) BUT no sound – no way. My poor boys know they have to have the sound turned WAY down with their games (and NO shooting ones!)
:)
@Simone you can find the official RovioMobile Walkthrough on YouTube if you get stuck somewhere :-)

@R:
So, you’re not just an addict, but you’re a cheating addict, too! :)
@Kay lol yea i’ve used it once, and it helped! ;-)
.. and not afraid to admit it ;)

@R:
Pawned by your son who can play it without walkthroughs! I’m so gonna tell him that in the morning :)
This was fun to see, today. Love the colors, and the photos of your fish.Go to my site and you will see drag queen cupcakes. Sounds silly, I know. But it works, just as your site works for me, today. Thanks for the sharing, Kay. I needed that.
I know exactly how you feel, also living with a serious angry birds addict! I share your pain. These play doh figures are adorably cute though!
@ Cathy:
Need a sip of brandy? :)
A sip?? Surely that is not enough!
I want one of J-man’s angry birds.
Haha! My children were playing angry birds the other day. Except, they were playing it in my house, and they were the birds. What a racket!
